Myofascial Release is a series of stretches, movement and manipulation that work directly with the connective tissue of the body. Connective tissue is the container that supports and defines our structures. Our bodies are 70 to 80 percent water, connective tissue acts as a holding vessel and a memory retention source.
Myofascial Release can serve as an effective modality where injury or trauma was experienced in the body. The connective tissue assumes holding patterns to support an injury site in the body. Often as healing occurs the connective tissue can be released as a means to expedite healing. Relaxed connective tissue enables increased blood flow, lymphatic flow and assists in structural alignment.
Myofascial Release can assist in over-all body awareness, creating a sense of space and mobility in the body. Those who would like to make structural changes or life changes can receive a series of 10 sessions.
Each session builds on a previous session to eventually cover the entire body. |

Healing Stone Therapy is a massage therapy session that uses the ancient healing art of heated stones to aid in relaxation and easing of muscular tension. Warm stones are placed on various parts of the body as well as utilized throughout the massage to bring deep relief from the aches and pains associated with muscle tightness and everyday stress. The combination of heat and massage creates a relaxing, gently, yet effective treatment. Healing Stone Therapy goes beyond the physical experience of typical massage, and enters deeper dimensions of relaxation, health and well-being, creating a positive approach to 'Body-Mind-Spirit' philosophy.
Sessions are available in 1 hour and 1 1/2 hour increments. |

Reflexology is the practice of manipulating and applying pressure to the feet and/or hands using specific thumb, finger and hand techniques. There are thousands of nerve endings in the feet and hands, so by working on a specific area, the corresponding body part receives improved nerve, blood and lymphatic supply, in addition to working all 12 systems of the body: cardio-vascular, central nervous, digestive, endocrine, immune, lymphatic, muscular, reproductive, respiratory, sensory, skeletal, and urinary. Reflexology allows the body to self-correct itself by persuading the body to biologically correct, strengthen, and reinforce itself, to reach balance, normalization, and homeostasis.

Infant Massage in U.S.A. versus other cultures...we have an apparatus to do everything. We prop bottles; we have strollers, car seat carriers, swings, and bouncy seats. We are the "least touching" country.
Babies in orphanages who lack individual attention, start to no longer expect being touched or having attention shown to them and will even stop crying.
Babyhood is when patterns are being set. The biggest difference can be made in this short time.

About the Healing Happens' Labyrinth

Our purpose in building this labyrinth is to provide our community with another way to heal. Since our society does not provide many places for this to occur, Healing Happens wants the serenity garden and labyrinth to be a place of personal retreat and renewal.
Walking a labyrinth is a form of meditation. Our intention is to have the labyrinth used for spiritual growth, prayer, reflection, healing and meditation. We want this to be a place where you can come, feed your soul; reenergize your spirit and "Be Still". We would love to have you and/or your group(s) experience the labyrinth for this purpose.
The labyrinth is open dawn to dusk for unguided walks. There is no fee for this use, however, any donation you feel led to provide will be gratefully accepted for upkeep of the labyrinth.
We offer individual guided walks. The fee for guided walks is 30.00.
We also offer candle lit walks. The fee to have us prepare for an evening walk is 20.00. We will make sure the candles and/or fire pit are lit for your enjoyment. We do not permit fires or candles to be lit without staff being present.
We ask that you call to schedule any evening walks, guided walks, and/or groups, to ensure availability.
